This event will take place in person at the Columbus Library. Join us for a program with songs, rhymes, and favorite read-aloud books as we show you that storytime is fun for the whole family. Ideal for caregivers with multiple-aged children, but caregivers with children of all ages are welcome. Storytime is a program for parents/caregivers and their children. Both the parent/caregiver and the child must be present during the entire program: unaccompanied adults or children will be asked to leave the program. When registering for this program, parents/caregivers should use their name and information--you don’t need a library card to participate! less

Discover ways to promote early literacy at home and meet other caregivers in the neighborhood. Best for new walkers, toddlers, or children at an early developmental stage. less

Family Story Time! Join us for songs, rhymes, and favorite read-aloud books in this storytime that’s fun for young children 5 and under. Ideal for caregivers with multiple-aged children, families can enjoy storytime and open play while discovering new books and resources. Come join Morrisania's Children's Librarians in a Joyful and interactive experience designed for families to come together and enjoy the magic of stories. Children and their caregivers will bond, laugh, and learn through books, songs, and movements in a fun and welcoming environment. Perfect for kids of all ages, this story time encourages early literacy, imagination, and quality family time. Join us for a fun filled hour of Little Movers Music with all your favorite children's songs. We will incorporate guitar and ukelele and have you moving and grooving. Shakers, tambourines and other music makers will be provided. Be prepared to move and dance. The finale will be a bubble party featuring our new color filled storm bubble machine with balloons. Please register in advance at the front desk. Space is limited. Ages 3-5. less
