Join us for songs, rhymes, and favorite read-aloud books in this storytime that’s fun for young children 5 and under. Ideal for caregivers with multiple-aged children. ***HOW TO REGISTER*** 8 spots will be open for online registration each week, and another 8 spots will be held for walk-ins on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please register under the child's name. Tickets for walk-ins will be given out at 11 AM at the entrance to the library on the day of the program. Tickets for a waitlist will also be given out. If there are still spots available after 11:20 AM, families will be moved from the waitlist into the story time. The child must be present with their caregiver at the time of check-in. Online registrants must check-in by 11:20 AM at the entrance to the library. If you do not check-in by 11:20 AM, your spot will be given to a family on the waitlist. Discover ways to promote early literacy at home and meet other caregivers in the neighborhood. **Please note that Summer Storytimes will be ticketed events on a first come first serve basis. This event will take place in person at Spuyten Duyvil Library. After storytime, library staff guide children and their grown-ups through a warm and inviting play space where you and your child can play and socialize with others in the community. A great opportunity to meet other children, parents and caretakers while learning about the power of play from library children’s staff. Please note: This program is for both caregiver and child. Children must be supervised by their grown-up at all times. Recommended for ages 0-5. less
