Join us for Bilingual storytime. English and Spanish. We will sing songs, share books, and learn some Spanish words and phrases. Ages: 0-5. 20 families first come first served. To guarantee a free ticket to the program please arrive at least half an hour before the start time. less

Join us for our weekly open play with babies, toddlers and their caregivers where they will take part in a variety of activities which support early literacy skills. Please note that this is not a structured program and that children must be supervised at all times. Ages: 0-5 years old less

This event will take place in person at the Andrew Heiskell Library. Join us for an inclusive and interactive storytime that encourages movement, promotes literacy, and offers safe sensory input. While open to everyone, this program is ideal for children with autism spectrum disorders, sensory sensitivities, or any child that may have difficulty attending in large groups. Registration is not required. Tickets will be available half an hour prior to the event. Space available for up to ten families. less

This event will take place at Poe Park in the Bronx. This summer, join the BLC children's staff at Poe Park every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30am for songs, rhymes, and read-alouds as we show you that storytime at the park can be fun for the whole family. For young children of all ages. Ideal for caregivers with multiple-aged children. Please Note: No registration is required. Weather permitting. In case of inclement weather, Storytime will be at the Children's Room in the Bronx Library Center. less

Join Mr. Corvino for songs, stories, and more during our Little Movers Storytime! This program is geared toward educators and their students, ages birth to 5. Both the educator and the child must be present during the program. No registration required. less

This event will take place in person at the Columbus Library. Coloring pages will be provided, or simply get creative and color freely. Help your little ones to express themselves and develop their fine motor skills through creativity. Children ages 0-5 with their caregivers are welcome. less

Family Story Time! Join us for songs, rhymes, and favorite read-aloud books in this storytime that’s fun for young children 5 and under. Ideal for caregivers with multiple-aged children, families can enjoy storytime and open play while discovering new books and resources. Staff will be on hand to help children and caregivers to sign up for library cards, share reading recommendations, and introduce upcoming programs that build excitement around reading learning Tuesdays 11 am - 11:45 am. * Families have a 10-minute grace period. * Start and end times are approximate.
