Join us every Tuesday at 11am as young children and their parents/caretakers can enjoy an English/Spanish read-aloud with songs and rhymes in both languages. Come explore new words and phrases followed by a craft, activity, or some play time. Intended for young children ages 0-3yrs. less

Join us for an interactive musical experience! Each week, superstars will encounter a new instrument and learn the fundamentals of rhythm and pitch. Families will be introduced to the violin, viola, cello, piano, french horn, trombone, trumpet, clarinet, and more. From jazz to classical, world music, bluegrass and more, this program showcases different genres and gives kids a chance to get up close and personal with the instruments! Join librarians from Seward Park Library for books, songs, and rhymes every Tuesday. Best for children up to age 5 and their caregivers. Storytime will take place on the 2nd Floor (Children's Floor). No registration is necessary. less

This event will take place in person at Spuyten Duyvil Library. After storytime, library staff guide children and their grown-ups through a warm and inviting play space where you and your child can play and socialize with others in the community. A great opportunity to meet other children, parents and caretakers while learning about the power of play from library children’s staff. Please note: This program is for both caregiver and child.
