This event will take place at Poe Park in the Bronx. This summer, join the BLC children's staff at Poe Park every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30am for songs, rhymes, and read-alouds as we show you that storytime at the park can be fun for the whole family. For young children of all ages. Ideal for caregivers with multiple-aged children. Please Note: No registration is required. Weather permitting. Gather 'round as our Children’s Librarian leads us in fun campfire songs and reads the beautifully illustrated folktale Little Red Riding Hood by Trina Schart Hyman. After the story, kids will get to unleash their creativity with a campfire-themed craft to take home. This event will take place in person at the Columbus Library. Join the librarians at the Columbus Library as we color and paint with the little ones. Help them to express themselves and develop their fine motor skills through creativity. Children ages 0-3 with their caregivers are welcomed. less

This event will take place in person at the Columbus Library. An informal playgroup for young children (ages 0-4) and their parents and/or caregivers to meet other families and encourage children to develop together through play. Onsite program with songs, rhymes, an ideal program for caregivers with children between the ages of 0 to 3 years. Open Play for Babies and Toddlers is a program for parents/caregivers and their children. Both the parent/caregiver and the child must be present during the entire program: unaccompanied adults or children will be asked to leave the program.
