This program is intended for pre-walkers and new walkers only. Join us for a special time to bond with your little one and meet other parents and caregivers in collaboration with Urban Health Plan's Prenantal department. We will explore the joys of movement, books, and songs, in addition to building early learning skills you can practice at home. Come prepared to sit with your child on your lap. less

This event will take place in person at the Morrisania Library. Come join Morrisania's Children's Librarians at Crotona Park (Playground of the Stars) as we share our favorite picture books, providing children with the wonder of books and the joy of reading. Both the parent/caregiver and the child must be present during the entire program: unaccompanied adults or children will be asked to leave the program. When registering for this program, parents/caregivers should use their name and information--you don’t need a library card to participate! less

This event will take place outdoors at Seton Park, behind the Spuyten Duyvil Library. Join us for family storytime outside in the park behind the library! We’ll read stories, sing songs, and groove to some of our favorite tunes. Please bring a blanket to sit on! In the event of inclement weather or high temperatures/humidity, storytime will take place inside the library. less

Join librarians from Seward Park Library for books, songs, and rhymes every Tuesday. Best for children up to age 5 and their caregivers. Storytime will take place outside, in front of the library. In the event of severe weather, storytime will move inside to the 2nd Floor (Children's Floor). No registration is necessary. less

This event will take place outdoors at Seton Park, behind the Spuyten Duyvil Library. After storytime, library staff guide children and their grown-ups through a warm and inviting play space where you and your child can play and socialize with others in the community. A great opportunity to meet other children, parents and caretakers while learning about the power of play from library children’s staff. Please note: This program is for both caregiver and child. Children must be supervised by their grown-up at all times. Recommended for ages 0-5. less
