This event will take place outdoors at Washington Square Park. Specifically located at the east alcove with park benches across from the Playground for Big Kids. Join us to hear stories, sing songs, and get those wiggles out as you help your active child build important early learning skills. Bring your little artist to the library as we explore open-ended ways to promote early learning through art and books, and share fun ideas for creating with little ones at home. Young artists will explore colors, shapes, and more while working on motor skills, creativity, and imagination. less

This event will take place in person at the Columbus Library. Coloring pages will be provided, or simply get creative and color freely. Help your little ones to express themselves and develop their fine motor skills through creativity. Children ages 0-5 with their caregivers are welcome. less

This event will take place at Poe Park in the Bronx. This summer, join the BLC children's staff at Poe Park every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30am for songs, rhymes, and read-alouds as we show you that storytime at the park can be fun for the whole family. For young children of all ages. Ideal for caregivers with multiple-aged children. Please Note: No registration is required. Weather permitting.
