Child Center of NY

Website
Children birth to five and their families will receive high-quality, emotionally responsive education through our Early Head Start, Head Start, and ParentChild+ programs. Children improve an average of more than 50% in cognitive, social-emotional, and language skills over the course of a year. We support parents by teaching responsive caregiving, providing parent-child counseling, and offering case management. The goal is to help families challenged by poverty, limited education, homelessness, recent immigration, and literacy and language barriers prepare their children to enter school ready to succeed. This is accomplished by recognizing the parent as the child's "first teacher."
