This event will take place in person at the Richmondtown Library. Join us at Richmondtown Library for a fun filled, interactive performance by NYC Children's Theater, whose mission is to promote children's literacy and social development through their professional theater productions. This event is for ages 0-5. An interactive storytelling session with theater activities inspired by the childhood of Millo Castro Zaldarriaga, a Chinese-African- Cuban girl, who broke Cuba’s traditional taboo against female drummers, Drum Dream Girl tells an inspiring true story for dreamers everywhere! No materials needed. Just your imagination! With Yvonne Roen of New York City Children’s Theater Registration online is required to participate in this program. Adults should use their email when registering. Caregivers must be present with child throughout the entire duration of the program.
